Philip Kelly. Sports and in particular ice hockey has played a major role in the life of Philip Kelly. Through participation from an early age up to high school, he has 19 years of coaching experience at the yoputh and high school levels. Dr. Kelly has also coached baseball and football.. Upon receiving his Ed.D. from Boston University, he joined the staff at Salem State University where he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in coaching and sport pedagogy. Dr. Kelly has published numerous articles on teaching and student involvement in the classroom. He has also studied crowd behavior at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He resides with his family in Massachusetts.
