Section II - Out-patient Care (beginning on page 19). The next section deals with working either in the patient’s home or in your home. It may involve the coordination of care by outside agencies or professionals, but on an out-patient basis.
Section III - In-patient care (beginning on page 97). A completely different set of rules governs the caregiver’s actions when considering “in-patient” circumstances, whether in a hospital, nursing home, hospice or rehabilitation facility.
Section IV - After Death (beginning on page 119). In the next section, we will consider the caregiver’s rights, responsibilities, and responses after the patient passes away.
Section V - Questions and Answers (beginning on page 139). In this section, we will address some of the questions which occur often. All of the questions concern material which is covered in more detail in earlier sections.
In all instances, we will lead the caregiver through the system. One of the biggest problems caregivers are faced with is the inability to obtain correct answers. A big part of that problem is not knowing the right questions. This book will help.
