Play Some More
Nick
Wants to pick
A video game
With a football name
He wants the game to last
But he plays so very fast
With a cheerful roar
He has beaten the score
And wants to play some more
See All I Can
I think I’ll fly across the country
And go to a zoo to view a monkey
While there I’ll see all I can
For, you see, I’m a great fan
I’ll stare and stare
At the polar bear
And go through the gates
Just to see the snakes
The lion’s den
Is like the tiger’s pen
The giraffe stretches his neck
Oh well. What the heck!
I’m off to see a tropical bird
Makes more noise than I’ve ever heard
There’s a dolphin eating fish
Guess it’s time to make a wish
To take another trip some day
Even if it’s far away
Pretend Roles
Hamburgers and hot dogs
And lots of frogs
Blue jeans and fish poles
With many pretend roles
This is what a little boy
Needs to give him joy
Stories like this have been told
About youth, as they grow old
Fat Song
Here comes Pat
Oh dear, she’s so fat
And only six
Listen as the kids get their kicks
Kids can be cruel
They don’t always go by the rule
They sing a fat song
She has done nothing wrong
Little does she know that this will make her strong
She may not regret
But she’ll never forget
How fat songs brought tears
In her younger years
